These are the travel safety and security products I use or recommend to help protect important belongings, keep track of my things, and give me a little extra peace of mind while I'm away from home.

How I Keep Track of My Belongings
Airports, train stations, hotels, and busy attractions mean my belongings are constantly moving with me while I travel. I try to keep important items in consistent places so I'm not repeatedly wondering where I put my passport, wallet, phone, or other essentials.
I also like having an extra way to keep track of luggage and other important belongings when possible. It doesn't guarantee that something can't get lost, but it can give me another tool if a bag doesn't arrive where I expected it to. A little organization and preparation before the trip can save a lot of unnecessary stress later.
Travel Prepared, Not Paranoid
For me, travel safety isn't about constantly worrying that something bad is going to happen. If I spent the entire trip thinking about everything that could go wrong, I wouldn't have much time left to actually enjoy where I am.
Instead, I take reasonable precautions, pay attention to my surroundings, protect the things that would be difficult to replace, and then get on with the trip. The goal of safety and security gear should be to give me less to worry about, not another reason to be nervous about traveling.
Prepare for the things that make sense, stay aware, and then go experience the place you traveled all that way to see.
